Mr.Pradip Kanakia
Non-Executive Chairman and an Additional-Independent Director of ICRA Analytics Limited
He is also on the board of ICRA Limited and chairs their Audit Committee.
Mr. Pradip Kanakia is a strong leader and Finance and governance-oriented professional with expertise in accounting, auditing, reporting, systems, processes and controls, compliance and governance, strategy, transformation and performance management.
Mr. Kanakia currently serves on the boards of several leading listed companies and is a Senior Advisor and a mentor to a clutch of fast-growing start-up companies in their pursuit of the IPO journey.
As a qualified Chartered Accountant of both England & Wales and India, he has held leadership positions with Price Waterhouse and KPMG during a career spanning 36 years. As a Lead Engagement Partner, he led the audits of several prestigious Indian and multinational companies, across various industry sectors, reporting under Ind-AS, IFRS and US GAAP for over 22 years.
As a national leader in both PwC and KPMG, he played a major role in transforming the businesses of both the firms leading to accelerated growth and profitability by demonstrating the ability to ‘turn around’ underperforming business units with strong strategic and execution skills.
Mr. Kanakia also led a popular Non-Executive Directors (NED) Program with Price Waterhouse for a period of 10 years that attracted large participation by Independent Directors, CFOs, Chief Internal Auditors and Chief Compliance Officers in Mumbai and NCR regions.
Mr. Kanakia led several thousand people in both the firms and cultivated a culture of high performance, collaboration, and teamwork by encouraging a questioning mind set and belief in finding solutions to problems by actively engaging with all stakeholders.
Ms. Amita Shrivastava

Vice President in the Asia Pacific Regional Management team of Moody's Investors Service
Amita Shrivastava is a Vice President in the Asia Pacific Regional
Management team. In this role Amita works on various Asia Pacific
strategic and regional management projects, especially the ones related
to MIS businesses in South and Southeast Asia.
Amita has nearly 10 years of experience in Structured Finance. Prior to
joining the Regional Management team Amita was a Vice President –
Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Investors Service Asset Finance Group
where she managed the surveillance of various US RMBS asset classes.
Amita was previously a lead analyst in the RMBS primary ratings
team where she analyzed a wide range of RMBS asset classes. She had
been actively involved in developing the methodology for rating and
monitoring various RMBS asset classes.
Amita joined Moody’s in 2004 from Barclays Capital in New York.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and an MBA from Gujarat
University, India and a Masters in Finance from William E. Simon School
of Business, University of Rochester, New York.
Mr. Jayanta Chatterjee
Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, ICRA Analytics Limited
Jayanta has more than 33 years of rich experience of which he has spent 28 years with ICRA. He has strong experience in Business Development in Financial Services, having worked across various regions in India. His previous role was Executive Vice President & Head - Strategic & Emerging Corporates Group at ICRA Ltd where he helped grow ICRA's business in the emerging corporate segment.
Prior to ICRA, he worked for five years in Tata Steel in the marketing division and was a core member of their Special Steels marketing group.
Jayanta holds a B. Tech (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and has done his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Jayanta also holds a directorship in D2K Technologies India Private Limited.
Mr. Shubham Jain
Non-Executive Director, ICRA Analytics Limited
Mr. Shubham Jain is the Head of Group Strategy & Business Transformation, ICRA Limited. He is an Electrical Engineer from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, and holds an MBA degree from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. This is Shubham’s second stint at ICRA Limited. He had contributed significantly to ICRA’s Analytical function as Group Head – Corporate Ratings, before joining Yubi Build as Chief Business Officer, in September 2021.
